Not too bad. Strange layout to the skatepark and too much graffiti, but some fun areas.

Something for everyone. Dog park, skate park, playground, plus walking path.

Came here for the Sacramento Soccer Tournament held in February. Parking costs $10 for the tournament and there were a few food trucks. It was hard to find parking for late comers. The grass was very bumpy for the soccer game. Our soccer team had great pizza at Milano Pizza about 5 minutes away.

There for my first time for a Cub Scout fishing derby grandsons. Only saw the fishing lake, but it was fine for the purpose, level bank all the way around with a concrete rim, thick cattails along part of the shoreline, good for catching off-target casts. Lots of birds in the reeds. Most of us weren’t catching anything, the more skilled said they were catching some 4 or 5 inch bluegill. There’s a pretty aeration fountain in the middle. Picnic tables at a few spots, plus a few benches, small trees for shade a bit back from the water. Pond weed in some places catching on hooks (the entire bank was full of scouts, so couldn’t be choosy. We parked in a solar-panel-shaded lot very close to the lake. Not sure if there’s a charge for parking at other times, but we were told it was free for the event. Only limitation was no close restrooms, we were directed to some port-a-potties at the soccer fields across the street, bit of a hike from the other side of the lake.
