I look for different dog parks to take my baby to… Shout out to Eastpointe , shout out to Roseville and ESPECIALLY Harper Woods ,they welcome all patrons to the dog park .. as well as house stray dogs for Grosse Pointe residences!! #ReviewReader

Yes, it's for residents. We're a tiny community, we pay very high local taxes, and those who wish to use the dog park pay an additional annual fee, plus we have to provide proof of immunization. It's small because it was set up as kind of an experiment to see if it would take off; if it had, the village would likely have expanded it. Unfortunately, not too many residents use it, probably because it's small, so we have kind of a vicious circle situation. Still, it's very well maintained and my dog enjoys herself there (she loves the drinking fountain). I truly don't understand the sour grapes evinced by other "reviewers." Why anyone would want to crash such a tiny dog park is beyond me; I believe there's a much larger and more interesting one in Harper Woods that's available to everyone.

It is a private park for residents only. While out walking my dog while visiting family, I was told by one of those local residents that "I was not welcome there".

A city DOG park... For only those who live there 👀 Crazy how a city council can determine which Michigan residents can be there with their animal.
