Gwynns Falls Trail is a great hidden gem for those looking to enjoy nature without leaving Baltimore. The trail winds through a variety of landscapes—from wooded areas along the stream to open park spaces and historical landmarks. It’s ideal for walking, biking, or just taking a break from the city buzz. What really stands out is how much green space you can explore so close to an urban area. Many parts are peaceful and scenic, and the trail connects several parks, which adds variety to the experience. While some sections could use better upkeep and clearer signage, most of the trail is in good shape, and it's clear that efforts have been made to improve it over time. Overall, it's a solid outdoor option for locals and visitors alike. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely worth spending a few hours exploring.

This is the entrance to the trail..it was our first time here and the overall experience was great! Follow the green markings on the ground and you'll make it to the bridges!

Lots of trash. Gravel area is nice. Also smells like sewage and chemicals in multiple areas

Confusing trail map. If you park in the lot, you have to walk on the street for about a mile to get to the trail...some of it on narrow curved road.
