Went on Memorial Day, husband wearing grandfathers WW II uniform. Very nice ceremony.

Veterans Day memorial with Haltom jazz band, T bone sang Star Spangled Banner, bagpipes and bugle Taps. And that was just the music. Very nice tribute.

Nice park there is something for everyone

Great area for all ages. (I brought a 2 year old) Bring a kite on windy days for the big field! This place is never crowded when I come weekdays and there is a restroom. My only wish is that people make sure their trash makes it to the bins, not the ground.
