Great park! Love the trails and the open forest. Always go with my dogs. It says leash only but most people take the leash off so their dogs can run around in the forest. I always come across responsible owners so I have never had any issues. Two baseball fields and two very small playgrounds. I wouldn't say they're the main reason you would go. Young playground for 5 and under.

Hamlin Park feels like stepping into an enchanted forest. The tall trees tower above you, and when the sunlight filters through the branches, it’s absolutely magical. My daughter and I spent the afternoon exploring the well-loved trails, listening to birds, and identifying several species using the Merlin app—it was such a peaceful and fun experience. We also found a few geocaches, adding a sense of adventure to our walk. It looks like the park was hit hard by the recent bomb cyclone—there are quite a few fallen trees—but the trails are still well maintained and easy to navigate. Despite the storm damage, the park retains its charm and remains a beautiful place to connect with nature. A gem in Shoreline.

A family and jogger friendly Park in North Seattle in the shoreline area. A great getaway place to take the kids and family and play in any of the facility. Park areas were simply walk the trails through Old Ghost wilderness. Love this part and great for mushrooms and fungi year-round

Beautiful park with a variety of zones and activity areas. We enjoyed a wonderful walk in the forest, with plenty of up and down hills, nicely maintained trails and great trees.

Huge park with lots of trails great for a nature walk or to exercise your dog. Small playground next to the baseball fields for younger toddlers and there is climbing structure for bigger kids closer to the restrooms. Lots of shade trees with picnic tables and benches spread out. Plenty of parking with multiple lots.
