This downtown dog park offers ample space for your dog(s) to run around and socialize. The majority of dogs and their owners are friendly and respectful, making it a great place for your furry friend to have fun. Highly recommended!

Small area with no obstacle for dogs to climb on or play with. Just a Barden square of dusty grass. There are three metal benches for people to sit on. Nine small trees that barely create shade.

Everyone is super nice. My dogs love the park. They have lots of relaxing moments as well as active ones.

Was excited to try out this dog park - came highly recommended by other dog people. Only to find that it was closed for maintenance. The gates happened to be unlocked and we spent about 10 minutes with the whole side to ourselves until a city worker told us that it would be closed for a few more weeks (they were doing work on some fencing - why it was unlocked briefly). The signage indicating the closure was a long, fine-print city notice on the gate - an additional, simpler notice to catch people upfront would be helpful. I can see why the park is highly recommended. It's clean and nice to have real grass. But the extended maintenance periods are a bummer - especially in some of the nicer weather months that we have here. It really shouldn't be closed for six weeks at a time.

Great place for your fur little friends to run wild and socialize. Very large area. There's 2 separate areas, one for small & another for large breeds. I do have to say it's not as tidy as other parks we've been to. Owners are not pretty good at picking up after their pets here. There were droppings all over the place. There are no bags available. Had to walk around almost the entire area to finally find a scooper/rake. Most of it is grass, not dirt like other spots. Nice friendly people we've chatted with.
