This park has really fallen off. The playground is dirty. I've called the city to come out to clean the playground. The reservior is drained which is a huge staple in the community. They really need to do something.

I use to come here when I was going through alot as a teen. I'd watch the sunrise, the frost freeze, the rain pour and run for hours to clear my head around the reservoir. During a time in my life where nothing was consistent and everything felt like it was falling out from under me, Hanlon Park and it's beauty was there as a balm to soothe my soul. Some of my most precious memories are here. I can't wait to come back and make new ones. New Memories without the weight of my troubles on my shoulders.

I love this park. Unfortunately it's not at its best right now due to the ongoing tank construction, the relentless noise and disruption to the environment. It's only possible to walk a little less than half way around the lake. There's still a usable playground down on the Gwynns Falls side. Supposed to be finished work by 2022.

Another nice peaceful park in MD. View of lake is nice, great place for a stroll, and walk the dogs. Have a nice enjoying picnic. Remember enjoy, & leave no trace behind. Take you trash with you, see trash pick it up as well,.... Thank you,

Still closed off on the Hilton & Liberty Rod due to the ongoing construction to renovate as a whole. There is still another park with swings jungle gym and slides on the gwynns falls parkway side. There is still all the green where people are able to jog and walk their dogs from Hilton down to gwynns falls. I wouldn’t suggest going to the liberty rd and Hilton side as there is no sidewalk and plenty of construction and traffic speeds along liberty. Very dangerous. The other parts are very tranquil, gorgeous views no matter the time of day and safe. Very peaceful neighborhood and kind and friendly folks.
