Happy Dog Daycare Boarding and Grooming of Utica MI

We love taking our dog to Happy Dog for daycare, and she loves it more! She is always well taken care of and excited to go. The team communicates well and is so friendly, it’s like leaving our pup with family.

We started bringing our GSD, Piper, to Happy Dog Daycare about a month and a half ago and we couldn’t be happier! Piper has a lot of anxiety and fear from her previous life before we adopted her in July of 2025. We've put in the work to get her to a calmer happier pup! With the help of Jenny and the entire staff at Happy Dog, Piper loves going to spend time with her new friends (both human and canine)! They introduced her slowly and Jenny was kind and patient gaining Piper’s trust! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a daycare or boarding facility!

We boarded our 2 dogs at Happy Dog Daycare and Boarding over this past Christmas holiday and could not have had a better experience! Jim and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate the different needs of our 11 month old puppy and our 12 year old senior dog. I felt at ease knowing they were in good hands. Jim provided updates throughout their time there so that I always knew how they were doing and even checked in on them after they returned home. I would highly recommend Happy Dog Daycare to anyone looking for a top notch boarding experience. Maggie and Cody had a great time and will be back in the future!

My dog loves this place! I have a 3 year-old husky that I’ve been bringing here for about a year and a half on the recommendation of a co-worker and it was the best decision! My girl needs exercise and socialization or she gets destructive so this place is perfect. She’s always so excited to go and super tired when I pick her up. The owner, Jim, is phenomenal and his staff is amazing. The hours are great and it’s affordable. The groomer, Alex, is also wonderful. Nothing but good things to say about this place!

Its been about 4 yrs now since we've been bringing Cash to Happy Dog. Cash is still loving it and we are happy customers. I fully trust Jim and his wonderful staff. We drive the extra miles cause we know our furbaby is well taken care of and is a 'happy dog' for sure. He gets so excited to go. We wouldnt take him anywhere else. Thank Jim and crew!!
