I have so many fond memories of this place when i lived in South Florida. I took my furkids here for years. Happy Tails is excellent for every doze dog at it had the seperated containment areas for dogs from small to large. It also has areas for the dogs to retrieve fresh water when they get thirsty as well as an area to bathe your pups near the park entrance/ exit. Most people here obey the dog park rules and look after their dog . I especially loved how vast the play areas are , especially for the large breeds. It also has an agilities area so you can train your dog. If anyone is new to the South Florida area and is looking for a safe fun place to take their pups,, look no further; Happy Tails has it all!! Ok,,one more thing,,,i see a lot of people hating on pitbulls. I worked endlessly with local government to get the ban lifted in Miami Dade County so that Dade County residents could own a pitbull without having authorities come into their home and take their dog even when it didn't do anything . There are bad apples with every breed and most times it's because the owner is too lazy to work with their dog. I have owned putbulls for over almost twenty years now and yes,,i was one of those people that feared pitbulls before owning one because of the horror stories the media stirred up about them. I can tell you from owning them ,,,and LOVING THEM,,,they have been the best breed ive ever owned. They have such a loving and appreciative nature about them and it disgusts me thinking of all the poor pitties that have been abused for financial gain by fighting them . I worked alongside Dahlia Canes who founded Miami Coalition Against Breed Specific Legislation for years at the many venues educating people about pitbulls as many are so free to just point out a dog that resembles a pitbull and call it a "pitbull". This breed has been crossbred with so other breeds, especially the Mastiff to produce that incredibly large jowl that everyone is so quick to associate it to being without a doubt ,,a pitbull when it isnt . Anyways ,,,please remember there are a LOT of people that are loving, responsible pitbull owners like myself out there doing the right thing . There was a motto that we had with MCABSL,,,,HATE THE DEED ,,,,,NOT THE BREED !! My girl ,Kami ,is on the MCABSL sticker at the far left. I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for her. She got me through the hardest times in my life and she will FURever be my soulmate !!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Nice place to bring your (tame) dog. I’ve been looking for a park that was big enough to allow my puppy to explore, play, and meet other animals. I found this gem, and it always seems to be packed! (in a good way!) plenty of other dogs to mingle with, people to meet, and large area for dogs to roam around in, safely. They have an area for small dogs, large dogs and the general area for well behaved dogs who enjoy playing. I initially brought my dog into the small area but the general area is a lot larger and people are respectful and mindful of each other - and the park itself. Happy to come back, and so it my puppy Uno.

Finally found a clean, well maintained dog park in south Florida. I drove about 18 minutes and it was worth it 5x over. The grass is noticeably clean, the locals really do a great job at picking up after their dogs, and they have 3 separate fenced areas depending on dog size/energy. I did notice a couple of more aggressive dogs, but the owners kept them near by and even one on a leash. My Whiskey loved it here (mini dachshund) and we will definitely be coming back often.

Great fenced dog park. Very large areas for small, medium and large dogs.
