It's a very nice park for the community. It's just sad, some of the people in the community don't value it. The city workers are pretty good about keeping it clean, yet there is always garbage left on the grass, which is so odd because there are MANY garbage cans, just a few feet within each other.
Took my daughter there for a father and daughter time. Was quiet and empty and we had the whole place to ourselves. Very neat and ideal place to spend some quality time with the family. Enjoyed the peace by the water. Summer is super fun with the pool activities
Great park to take your kids or if you just want to sit with your dog like I do is just fine.. the park is clean you can't bbq here but just to sit and have a picnic is just fine
