Haven View Park is a 2.95 acres park settled near neighborhoods, next to LePort Montessori School. There is decent parking, a playground and a large all grassy area. 🚻 🚫 No Restrooms 🧺 Benches for picnics or sitting. 🏞 Large Grass areas 🚗 Parking on the street and in a small lot 🗑 trash bins ⚽️ Soccer Area 🏐 Volleyball pit 🌳 Trees for shade The playground is rather large sand area containing a playground unit. The playground structures is intended for ages 5-12 years old. The structures offer slides and stairs, climbing, and monkeybars. Overall this is a great park to spend the day at and plan for a picnic. Be aware the local school also uses it so it does get crowded.

A few weeks ago my son was playing on the playground and sliced his foot really bad from broken glass that was in the sand. Not the first time I've seen broken beer bottles around there. My son has soccer practice there 2 days a week and seems to be a consistent problem. Be cautious when your kids are playing.

It's a good park. Parking is easy, fields are abundant, and there's a playground. Downsides include a lack of restrooms, tons of trash in "the pit", and a handful of questionable characters.

A place that's dear in my heart. My feelings flow like a river, but there's always an end. Why must he always watch? I'm not crazy.

The place has a nice breeze from the coast and air quality is usually exceptional. Great sunset views with hardly a person around!
