Hawk Hollow has a beautiful vast grassland, meadows, and rolling hills. There's some really great views along the trail where you can see the landscape for miles. If you cross the bridge, the trail briefly takes you along the West Branch DuPage River and eventually leads to Mallard Lake Forest Preserve. There's miles of trails that's perfect for hiking, running, or biking. The trail is in great shape. There's no parking lot available, but you can park along Struckman Blvd in the designated spots.

Biggest Prairie fenced in, off leash dog park! We can spend all day, walking the trail! It's a big loop and probably takes 30 - 45 minutes to walk around but you can make it way longer if you're playing with your pup!! It definitely gets busy on the weekends but means more puppy friends! Go check it out!

I've been coming to this park nearly every day for the last two years. The mile fenced loop is the best feature of any dog park I've ever been to. It can be very busy and it is down wind of the sewage treatment plant, but other than that it is as good of a dog park there is in Illinois.

Large, open prairie, gorgeous any time of year, and big enough that it never feels crowded. The lack of trees makes it a place to go only early or late in very hot, sunny days -- but also means there's almost always a breeze to keep the bugs away. One of our favorite off-leash dog-walking areas.

One of our favorite dog parks to go to. You do need a pass that you can obtain in advance through the DuPage Forest Preserve’s website. This is a fenced in prairie with a path that resembles an 8. There are two smaller mowed fenced in areas, one designated for small dogs, if you are looking for your pup to play with other dogs. Everyone we came across is nice, and so are the pups. During the summer it does get hot and there’s no access to water, so make sure to bring a bottle with. When it rains, the path does get muddy, and if you have a dog like mine that loves to roll in mud, then I’d use the grass area instead. In winters after snowmelt, there is a lot of muddy water. Overall it’s a great park!
