Went for a walk here and it was gorgeous views. I like to go on easier walks when Im taking the children. They also enjoyed this walk! Easy walk and stunning scenery. Its also easy to get to the trail. Will definitely go back!

Hayward Regional Shoreline is a good hiking trail that doesn’t really have much elevation in terms of climbing up and down the hills. Not really much going on here except that there’s a shore once you reached to the end. There are other trails you can if you decide to walk more. It seems like the ocean stopped reaching the shore since I saw much muddy surface unless it’s very rainy at some point. There’s also parking too and surprisingly only me and two other cars where I parked at. There’s a one-way spike strip and so becareful not to go the wrong way.

Great views of the bay! Highly windy make sure to come prepared. Good flat trails for a walk, run or biking. San Francisco, Oakland airport and Bay bridge can be seen. Having a binocular would be better. So much to watch around. Parking closes by 5pm but there is some parking outside too.

Wonderful place to walk or ride your bike. Can be very windy. Sometimes the marsh has a strong smell. Good place to observe birds, the Bay, tides, learn and think about rising seas, weather, Climate Change, wildlife, our role in protecting people and planet. Not many signs with information about wildlife but there are a few. Parking lot at start of trail is free.

Very nice place for a walk or hike, its more plain walk with beautiful views of bay n san Mateo bridge. Parking is plenty, not too crowded. A little smelly when walking close to bay as it is marshy area and its expected, but not that bad. Otherwise very calming, peaceful walk with nice views. And no parking or entry fee.
