I grew up in the Brookside subdivision. Since 1987 I have lived in this subdivision. I remember when the park would get NEW nets on the 2 tennis courts and you could play there. Now it's broken glass and tweekers hanging out. Smh what a shame. It's a huge plot of land with so much potential. Community gardens would be awesome. Since a lot of the yards are not large. Lights at dark. A paved walkway the entire distance. How about a dog run also. There plenty of room. The newer playscape is nice. But it's so small. Come on I know it's only the south end of the city. The park next to my old home at Ford and Beech Daly wasn't a quarter the size of this one and that playscape was larger.

Profanity all over the park. Dead skunk on the playground and trash everywhere. We won't be back.
