Not all that. Too many homeless around. Kids wandering without parents supervison. Has a good play area for kids and basketball courts. But wouldn't recommend to be here at night.
Stoppe through LA on our way to Japan for spring break 2025. This park was on the same street our relatives stayed on in Gardena. Did our basketball drills🏀 side note Gardena Bowl for Lunch after was amazing! It’s a bowling alley with a little Hawaiian brunch place with huge portions
[UPDATE] Still it is the closest and my favorite ballot drop box location! Just dropped off my ballot for the election. 10/8/24 ——— Clean park. It has one of the election ballot drop box, which was the main reason why I paid a visit. I ran there, so I took rest and enjoyed the quiet time for 10 minutes or so once the folks went through the park with the leaves blower. I suppose it is a Thursday thing in the morning. The water fountains near the ballot drop box don’t seem to work. But the ones mounted on the side of the building did.
Nice place, so relaxing! The kids enjoyed playing in the playground area!!
I love this family friendly park. It saddens me that I don't see more parents there with their children especially when it has extended Summer Nights!! Plenty of barbecues to enjoy your family without spending a lot of money!!
