Its more of a grassy patch with a playground than it is a "park." My first visit here was about a week ago. I'm aware of the leash laws, just as every other dog owner is. When you have a dog that is obedient and properly trained, unhooking the restraint to allow them the opportunity to run and interact with other dogs doesn't seem as though it would be enough to warrant Costa Mesa's finest to intervene. It hadnt been more than 5 minutes after I arrived, when an officer arrived, drove his vehicle INTO the "park" threatening to arrest all of the dog owners. He stated that we were all being recorded, and if any of us were seen returning in the next 24 hours, we would be arrested. I am unaware as to how often this happens, as this was my first visit, but there is definitely a grouchy individual keeping a close watch on the area, and has CMPD on speed dial. I wonder if the drug users and underage drinkers get reported too.

Smallish Neighborhood Park with a very small children’s playground— a few swings, and a small structure with slide and climbing things. Street parking around the park. Restrooms are available. A few Picnic tables, and a couple of benches. A nice green space for your dog to run around in. Beautiful trees for shade. Convenient location.

We got there around 3:30 pm on a weekday, boy was it crowded! No more tire swing😭 The playground has sand, 2 playsets with monkey bars running in between and about 4 slides. 2 baby swings and 2 regular swings. Restrooms, picnic benches, and a huge grassy area for birthday parties, sports practice, or to bring your furry kids🐶

Nice little Park! Park structure probably should be updated but place always seems to be full of kids and kids playing soccer

First time visiting. Went on a late night stroll on a Saturday night. The area itself is beautiful and quiet. However, the park an odor that was very unpleasant. Maybe it’s more of a dog park because the odor was very bad. I immediately left the area. I will not recommend and I’ll not return to this park.
