Hemphill Park is a peaceful neighborhood spot with open fields, walking paths, and playgrounds. Great for relaxing, family fun, and outdoor activities in a quiet setting.
A wonderful, quiet, central north Austin park to walk, play, and sometimes nap. I walk miles of it daily.
This is a great little spot to walk your dog. It's more of a stretch of grass surrounding a creek in the middle of the neighborhood than it is an actual park. It spans two or three blocks and allows for some good running space for your dog. You'll see lots of people out with their kids or pups!
Made some genuine people who were friendly. There were three of us with our dogs and the dogs got along also. It was an uplifting experience! We had three more similar experiences that day. My dog Ian and I came home energized and remained that way until we closed our eyes that night.
I love Hemphill Park. It is the grandest area of Austin - simple, prestigious and within distance of the resonance of the UT Tower bells.
