This should be called turtle park. Lots of turtles sun bathing and swimming. Cute short walking trail and kayak launch ramp. Lots of picnic benches and a large parking lot. Very cool old buildings that are well kept. Great way to take your kids out of the house but not spend any money, there is a very nice playground with wood chips so sneakers are a must for kids. No gators today unfortunately :( but we will be back!

Great little park hidden in League City. There are ponds and plenty of wildlife. We saw a couple small alligators fighting in the water. We were there for my daughter's graduation pictures.

This is the best spot to spend the day with the family and it's dog friendly too. Beautiful scenery public restrooms, a park, picnic table's with barbecue pits accessible. Clear Creek runs right through the park which allows you to feed the ducks and turtles and even make a day of fishing. There's also the Butlers museum which is located at the entrance of the park. I believe their open Mon thru Friday. Not sure about the hours but I would definitely recommend going. There's a lot to see and they even allow the public to take photo shoots there on the property. Its definitely a popular spot for graduations and weddings. I'm luck to only live only a block away so my children and I love to walk there whenever we get the chance too. Great, Great, place!!! I totally recommend this place.

Absolutely my favorite park in League City! Not easy for summer months, but we spend so many days out here between fall and spring. Beautiful walking trails, ducks to feed & great playground. And it’s never busy. Love this gem!

Our family went to the Big Sit Bird Watching Event May 2021. There were many Red Slider turtles greeting us on the peer. The Big Sit documented 74 kinds of birds since 7am. There were ducks and an alligator too. So watch out!! There were benches scattered around to rest and enjoy the beauty. It is well maintained and there is a boat launch, play ground and two museums. A beautiful park! Update! We have visited Heritage Park often through out the last year. It has so much wild life - muscovy ducks, blue herons, turtles, alligators, a few muskrat and more. There are also a few picnic tables to eat lunch at too. We take a right turn onto Landrum Ave and then a left into the parking lot. The Google directions bring you to the playground area on Coryell St.
