These photos in the area between the soccer field and the disc golf area that goes down to the fishing dock on the river. My dog likes to go there instead of the dog park. Go figure. I like it, too.

A well maintained and very clean park. It’s a nice park to go for a walk or run. I believe the dog park part is under construction, but I like that it has a side for little pups and big dogs. The playground is nice and clean. They also have a fishing pond. Overall very nice!

Heritage Park in Belton has become one of our favorite family spots. It’s clean, open, and safe — with plenty of room for the kids to run, play soccer, or just burn energy. The walking trails are peaceful, and it never feels overcrowded, even on weekends. The dog park is a huge bonus — big play area, well-kept, and the other dog owners have always been friendly and respectful. Our dog loves it just as much as the kids do. What we appreciate most is how welcoming it feels — easy parking, clean restrooms, and just an overall relaxing, family-friendly atmosphere.

Heritage Park in Belton is one of those places that makes you appreciate how beautiful and peaceful Central Texas can be. The park is always clean, well-kept, and full of life — whether it’s families enjoying a picnic, kids playing on the playground, or people walking their dogs along the trails. The open fields and shady trees make it perfect for a relaxing afternoon, and the walking paths are great for a jog or a quiet stroll. There’s plenty of space to spread out, enjoy nature, or catch a little sunshine. The pavilions and sports fields are great for gatherings, and the whole place has a friendly, safe, small-town vibe. Whether you’re going for a morning walk, a weekend game, or just to unwind, Heritage Park is one of Belton’s best spots to enjoy the outdoors and take a break from the daily grind.

This is such a treasure to find. Great for kids, families, teens, or just by yourself. Peaceful. Well kept. Beautiful. Fun. Some shade too to escape the sun.
