We’ve lived in the area for many years but today was the first time we checked this park out. I was very pleased that the dozen or more dogs that were there all appeared to be neutered and everyone was well behaved and having a good time doing their own thing in the large spaces available. I was however disappointed to see that there are numerous Foxtail plants in this park. I saw one dog in the area of them, constantly sniffing and eating the grass and plant in that area and I asked the owner if they knew how dangerous foxtails were for pets. It would be great if the city could come in and take care of them as they are such a danger to animals.
The best thing about any dog park is the dogs! This is a well kept space and it is clearly cared for regularly. That said, watch your step and let the zoomies commence!
This is a nice large park dedicated to dogs, there have always been other dogs/owners whenever I've gone
I come from Saratoga Springs everyday bc this is the best park we’ve found. It has so much room and it actually has grass. Anytime of day there’s at least one other dog there too. I work evenings so I don’t usually run into the issue of it being too full. I’ve seen other comments on the garbages but that’s just bc so many people come to the park. I always bring my own bags just incase they’re out. Not that big of a deal.
Good place to take dogs. No rivers. Nice walking path and lots of grass. Only spade and neutered dogs. You can get tic otherwise and your dog get attacked by others dogs if in tack. beware on signs.
