Was extremely disappointed to see lots and lots of trash. I should have taken more photos but every corner of the lake, including at the playground and marina was littered with trash that was old and had been there for a while. I saw staff riding around on golf carts, it wouldn't hurt them to lift a finger or a net and remove trash for the wildlife. What an eyesore.

Terrific park with walking trails, playground, small marina with boats and kayaks for rent, even a train for kids (and adult kids) to ride. A public pool, fishing (with proper permit), historic sites makes this park a great place to spend the afternoon with family and friends. I do wish the park maintenace staff would use less pesticide spray for vegetation management and more mechanical means. This is my only reason rating 4 or 5 stars.

Watching the sun set here is one of my favorite things to do...I mean look how beautiful it is! Who could resist? This is the Penny rd. access point. Come on out...you won't regret it...

I've lived in the area for 16 years and never knew this place existed! What a shame because I could have been fishing and walking the trails here a long time ago. It is so peaceful and serene! It also would be a good place to walk my dog. I know there is much more to the park and the trails than what I saw so I cannot speak for anything else, but I would like to come back and check it out again. I got here too late in the day especially with it getting dark sooner now. From what I can tell, this park offers way more than Oak Hollow does. Looking forward to exploring more in the future...
