The High Point Greenway is a beautiful, peaceful place to walk and enjoy nature. The trail is clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing, biking, or spending time outdoors. A great spot for anyone looking to unwind and get some fresh air! 🌿🚶‍♀️

Had a really nice time listening to moving water and occasional rest areas. Dog friendly and a lot of sight seeing; flying birds and moving trees.

The High Point Greenway is a paved trail that has boardwalks and meanders through the woods. When I went in fall 2022 I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of leaf colors! The trails were not that busy. Starting at the Piedmont Environmental Center, I enjoyed this portion of the Greenway—about 1.5 miles in or so—because it wasn’t exposed to the road. The portions of the trail that had boardwalks surrounded by trees and the bog (pictured below) were really enchanting and peaceful. A great trail for walking, taking the dog out for an adventure, or biking!

It was very quiet trails with a mixture of hills, curves, bridges and steps along the way. They even have a ramp to slide your bike up and down when you walk the steps. Their is also a visitor center with a snack stop. They were closed this morning so maybe they are open a few days a week. We did see a lot deers and birds.
