I really love this park! It's so peaceful and there's plenty of space to walk around without feeling crowded. It's just amazing how I can enjoy a nice stroll without having to worry about other people being too close. Although, I do wish that some people would follow the rules about keeping their dogs on leash. I've had a few instances where multiple dogs ran up to me and my dog. It was a bit unsettling, to be honest. But overall, the park is really great as it is. There's no need to add anything like "disc golf" or any other unnecessary activities that might attract more people. I really appreciate how nice and peaceful this park is compared to other parks in Attleboro. I really hope they can clean it up and maybe even treat it for ticks. I try to avoid the bushes and overgrown areas, but sometimes I still end up bringing ticks home. It's a bit frustrating, but I still enjoy coming to this park the sunsets here are amazing!
This is an old golf course that has been turned into a natural preserve. I walk here all the time, it's peaceful, you see bunnies and so many birds. It's a nice, easy walking area. Dogs on leashes are welcome, and they have portable toliets.
Watched our son run College X Country there. What fun!
Great place to go for a quiet walk. Lots of space, so plenty of solitude. Various trails cross the property so there are options each time you visit. Nice fields, but sometimes geese make a mess of things. I find it fascinating to walk around and see how nature is reclaiming the land. Wish the city would do something nice with the clubhouse building; it's clearly falling into disrepair and may be a total loss before too long.
It's just a place to walk. There is potential though. Picnic/Food truck area? Would also be great place for Disc Golf course. County Club facilities would be a great option for residents to rent out as party events option. Walking is great exercise, but a $3 mil. property should provide more use for a much larger number of residents....
