My dog Ace loves going to Hono dog park! He likes the obstacles there when he's not chasing his ball. People are pretty good about picking up poop after their dogs and others. The parking can get full on weekends and evenings sometimes. They have a couple of rail barrels to provide water under the gazebo.

Went to the dog park mid day on a Saturday. The parking lot is not that big. There are 3 different fenced area for different size dogs. The main play area is very good sized where most go. I had 2 smaller puppies and we were working on recall with distractions. We used one of the smaller fenced areas. It was still pretty large and no one else came into that area.

Diverse in activities playing structures, fields, courts, and patrons. Water park for hot days and a nice path for a brisk walk on cold days. Hillsboro parks and rec host many of their summer sport camps here. Only issue is if you handicap prepare for a mildly lengthy journey to the play structure or sand box with your child. Easy access if your going to water park or basketball courts.

We went there for Lightopia. It was really great quality, like as good as the raceway. It’s amazing that it’s free, and so nice that you don’t always need a ticket now. It’s pretty short though, just be aware.

I love this park. Well kept, shady, large area, most people are great that come here.
