Loved the view once I figured out to just climb top. Small circle path but great view this day after rain.

Had the park to myself on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. There is a walking track (mulch, not paved) one picnic table, and a lot of large landscape boulders and beautiful trees. There are really nice views from this small park in the middle of a neighborhood. It was very peaceful and relaxing.

Whose design was this “upgrade”? The open spaces and grass were like a high meadow, an escape from the city. Now, the walking path is nice. However, what can one do with bark on the ground? You cannot spread out a blanket and have a picnic. Besides, the weeds have taken over; it is obviously not being maintained. And why rocks and dirty logs instead of benches or tables? Ok. Trees planted for future shade, great idea. But there’s no watering system. Only a matter of time before they die. What a waste of taxpayer money and the ruin of a lovely space.

The park is on a small hill surrounded by homes down below. Entrance at the end of Pine ln. There is a dirt track that circles the summit where I like to take walks after being cooped up In my car. No facilities just a nice bit of nature with a view.
