The pace has been under construction for over a year. Probably the slowest I have seen on getting things done. The place is covered in large stones. Really bad design and inefficient. The park has shrunk due to the amount of stones they put in. Dumb idea.

Hilltop Park is a fantastic spot for families, dog lovers, and anyone looking to enjoy a day outdoors. Located at 780 Hilltop Dr, Chula Vista, this park offers a little something for everyone. A beautiful waterway runs through the park, adding a tranquil touch to the landscape, and the playground is perfect for kids, with plenty of space to climb, slide, and explore.
Dog owners will especially love the large off-leash dog area, where pups can roam free until noon—great for early risers looking to let their furry friends burn off some energy. For those who enjoy picnicking or grilling, the park is equipped with bbq pits and picnic tables, making it a perfect place for gatherings or a relaxing lunch in the sun. With its wide range of amenities and welcoming atmosphere, Hilltop Park is a true gem in Chula Vista!

Do not follow Navigation to this park as it puts you on a street behind the park that is not accessible by vehicle. As the name implies the park is on Hilltop not Milan and not First. Other than that great play equipment for the kids, nice walking sidewalks to tour the park, and a dog friendly atmosphere. A few gazebo and shade from the trees. A drainage ditch which runs through the center is nice. Small parking lot but street is available. Navigate to the church next door if directions are needed

Very nice shaded park with plenty of areas for a picnic or birthday party. A little creek runs through the center making it fun for little boat races. The playground is great for all ages. Nicely paved walking trail throughout.

Family friendly, great for walks and picnics. The playground is entertaining for ages 0-older....slides, swings, rock climbing, rolling hills, monkey bars, scavenger hunt and eucalyptus trees throughout. Restrooms are well maintained with soap, tp and clean:) There are three gazebos, two on a hill with a table each and the third one on a flat spot but no table. There is a huge flat grassy area to play sports also, but there are no courts. Main parking on Hilltop Dr. and additional street parking on the back street as well (First Avenue). Housekeeping tips: Bring doggie bags, water, a jacket and lots of energy to play;)
