This is a nice park overall, but the playground definitely needs to be remodeled as soon as possible. One entire section is just poles with nothing for kids to use, and the other section that’s still playable is pretty worn down. There are wooden boards put up instead of properly fixing parts of it, and the ladder leading into the playground is missing the very first step, which feels unsafe. While we were there, a baseball game was going on, which was really nice to see. My 2 year old daughter enjoyed a long walk on the walking path. There’s plenty to do here, and I saw lots of families staying active. Even though some areas could definitely use updates and repairs, my daughter still had a great time and the park gets the job done. The park offers a playground, baseball fields, picnic benches, a skating area, dog park, soccer field, and tennis courts.

I love the park but it’s FULL of homeless people. It doesn’t feel safe especially when it gets darker. They occupy all the rest spots. There is even a guy who “reserves” the tables every day with his leg lol.

This park is a joke. I came here with a car full of antsy children to find a playground that looked like this. Come to find out it has likely been in this condition for years, which I suppose if I had read deeper into reviews I would have maybe been able to figure this out. Nevertheless, the fact that the city lets this playground sit like this for as long as it has is extremely disappointing.

One of the best parks in the area, has everything you want in a park. It's conveniently located near downtown fort Lauderdale. It's huge, but it's also easy to miss if you don't know it's there. It's very well kept and the staff is courteous, friendly and professional. You can play tennis (indoor and out), soccer (outdoor), basketball (outdoor only I believe?), volleyball (sand and indoor), hockey (outdoor), baseball, racketball and maybe another sport I can't remember. Kids playground, fenced dog park, clean bathrooms. Off to the edges toward US1 (across The Parker) there's a separate building with aikido and girls gymnastics too.

Just another tennis geek drive-by! I did not know they were completely re-doing the entire Jimmy Evert Tennis Center in Holiday Park, Fort Lauderdale. But the Panthers celebration parade was the day I visited so I got to see the Stanley Cup!
