Very nice park. They have a dock that you can fish off & a pier. The water was clear & could see fish jumping out of the water. I stopped by to take pictures of the area. There was 1 boat that came up the river & there were a few ppl fishing 🎣 They must have an air strip nearby because smaller planes were flying over constantly, so besides the noise from the planes its very quiet & peaceful. It would be a perfect place for pictures. The scenery is beautiful.

Launching a kayak from this park to float down the river is awesome and easy! The current can get a bit fast, but I've seen it be low and slow as well. Overall a great park to spend some time at or do a little fishing.

Absolutely beautiful place to kayak and fish. There's a play area nearby and trails. Perfect for a family cookout or to jog around the path. We loved it, and plan on going back soon.

Beautiful green space with an excellent historic site. Well maintained, lots of shade, well marked, easy access and easy to find. We were very impressed.

Spacious park with a nice little walking trail and Greenway. My kids enjoyed the park which definitely could use a little TLC. The location is dated compared to some of the others around Knoxville but is still a solid option for families in East Knoxville.
