A great place to enjoy the sunset and relax. The water views are beautiful, especially in the late afternoon. It’s a peaceful, clean, and well-maintained park. It features a boat ramp, walking areas, and a family-friendly atmosphere. Parking is convenient, and the area feels safe. Perfect for a short visit, a walk, or simply enjoying the river views and fresh air. Highly recommended if you’re in Cape Coral and looking for a calm outdoor spot 🌅

Best place to come and relax a plus side is a little park for the kids. Beautiful ocean front that makes you feel like you are in another world. They also have alot of chairs to have picnics or just sit down and relax

It’s a good park. I don’t understand why I have to pay to walk my dog there but I guess that’s how Cape Coral is. Otherwise it’s great park with a view. Could definitely use some sprinklers for the dry season. Park has a great view but not a lot of room. Need a basketball court!

I love taking my dog for a walk at Horton Park. There are bags provided to clean up a dogs *business*. Thats a nice touch. After we walk, we sit on one of the benches or at the tables near the boat ramp to watch the boats and other watercraft come and go. There is a fenced playground with swings and things to climb on. It also has astro turf which i believe must be better for the little ones. That area is always well kept. There is only sight bathroom facilities. They have always been clean when I've been in there. There is a water fountain in the front. There is a covered picnic area with 4 tables, I believe. That would be nice for a family gathering, birthday party or just a place to stay out of the sun. I do have to say, that the signage for the boat trailer parking was a little bit misleading when we first started going there. We thought all vehicles had to pay to park. Finally, my husband saw it written somewhere that it was for boat trailers only. Also, when we first started going there, the trash cans were always maintained. It seems that that has fallen by the wayside. The trash bins are usually full and they ALWAYS smell horrible. I still believe this is a nice spot to go to even if the trash is stinky.

A nice park, boat ramp and playground next to the Midpoint Bridge This is a 5-acre park at the east end of the Everest Parkway and to the south of the Midpoint Bridge. It has a fair-sized parking lot that could handle about 25-30 trucks and trailers or cars. The park offers a saltwater boat launch facility with access to the Gulf of Mexico via the Caloosahatchee River. It is approximately 10.9 statute miles from the Sanibel Causeway Bridge and just south of the Midpoint Bridge. If you don’t have a boat it is also a great location to sit and enjoy a beautiful view or take your children to the playground. The parking lot and boat ramp are on the north side of the park. The south side has a grassy area with an open grassy area and tree covered portion along the Riverview part. This section has a concrete sidewalk that follows along the river and to the south side of the park, several covered tables, restrooms and a very nice, new playground surrounded by a fence. The park has parking fees for boat trailers ($15/day) according to their webpage. It is a very nice park with a lovely river view.
