We really love this park and have now enjoyed two events here (fall festival & santas village). Our daughter even participated in the Richardson holiday parade with her dance studio and it concluded at this park which was really fun. There is plenty of close by parking and the playground is suitable for many ages with several options. There are plenty of restrooms available on site and they even bring in decent portable restrooms during larger events. We attended Santa’s village for several years at the Richardson public library and were skeptical of it moving, this location did not disappoint. There were several fun stations (including a Santa meet and greet). The fall festival did have more alluring food options, if you are going to Santa’s village I would recommend eating ahead or after. They only had a popcorn truck with hot cocoa and a small halal truck (our family isn’t really a fan of this style of cuisine). Overall I highly recommend!

Huffines Park is a charming spot for a leisurely stroll or a peaceful day outdoors. The park features wide open spaces, scenic walking paths, and a lovely pond where ducks can often be spotted gliding by. It's a relaxing place to sit, enjoy nature, and watch the ducks, making it a perfect spot for families, photographers, or anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle for a while. it's a great place for a quiet afternoon or a quick walk.

We love this park! I has a great trail that I run with the jogging stroller. It is nice and wide. There are lots of ducks and geese. There are baby geese and ducklings in late spring/early summer. We saw a beaver there today. There is a lot of green space to play soccer and good shaded benches. The playground is okay (not as good as some of the other Richardson playgrounds) but is still good.

Nice park to walk around, play some sports or just relax. Good views if you’re there at the right time.

We visited the park during it was decorated as a Santa village. unfortunately we didn't know all the activities for Santa village are only open on certain weekends so we missed all the action. But we were able to enjoy the lighting. Kids will enjoy it. If you live nearby it is a must visit.
