This park next to Front Street and South Street is a favorite dog walking destination for us. There are several blocks of grassy expanse, the plantings are well tended, with benches and trash cans provided. There's a clear view of the Delaware River and the bridge walkway is an I95 overpass to reach Penns Landing. Getting a close look at Stroll, the 30 ft high stick figures sculpture by William King alone is worth the trip.

This is a very nice park. It's home to the Irish famine and the Scottish Immigrant Memorials. Just outside is the southern entrance is the maker for where Tun Tavern once stood the birthplace of the USMC.

This place is a little hidden gem on the way to the waterfront. It has some really cool statues, a small dog park, and plenty of places to sit and relax. I had the pleasure of walking by a family gathering for a little girl's birthday and seeing three labradoodles play in the small dog area. It really brought this charming park to life.

You can't deny history. I will definitely visit Philadelphia again so many historical landmarks. Great family vacation!

Great park area with cobble stone roads. Really great historical and commerative statues, plaques and monuments. Nice place to contemplate, read or have lunch.
