We thought it was beautiful. PetSafe dog park was clean.

Beautiful trails. I heard there used to be a lot of trash but they cleaned it up. I didn't see any trash there. I went in May and there were tons of ticks. My dog ended up with 15-20 ticks on him I had to flick off, pull off of him. Maybe they could do a possum release there to decrease ticks. There are restrooms by the park/dog park entrance. Seem well maintained. The dog park looked really nice and had pretty views of the surrounding nature, though we didn't go in. I would use the dog park and I'm planning on going back when the weather is colder and there are less ticks.

No real parking lot. Park no longer maintained by knoxville. Trails not clearly marked. As a novice hiker I would rate what I hiked as easy to moderate. Could hear car traffic most of my hike. Not heavily trafficked if you prefer a walk with less people, the few I encountered were very friendly and pleasant. The woods were very pretty. People left lots of garbage at an obvious fishing spot. Water looked very dirty, would not recommend swimming.

Nice trail system for hiking and biking. The lake is beautiful, and a nice place for folks to fish. Blue Heron may even be spotted along the banks. If you're looking for a good hour or two of trail walking or running, but don't have time to make it all the way to the mountains, this is a very nice alternative. Note...no restroom/out house facilities.

One of my favorite spots - first time accessing from this side! Some great views and relaxing vistas along the way, can’t recommend this one enough to beginners and regular trail goers alike.
