Independence Dog Park – Pearland, TX This park is such a beautiful and well-maintained spot to bring your dog! It’s clean, safe, and thoughtfully designed. The picnic tables under the covered awning are perfect for relaxing while your pup plays. There are plenty of fun structures for dogs to climb on and explore, plus wide, smooth sidewalks for walking. Both the small and large dog areas have double-gated entrances for safety, and all the gates and water fountains were in great working order. I also appreciated that the restrooms are nearby — very convenient. Overall, it’s a peaceful, scenic area and a wonderful place to spend time outdoors with your pet.

Great place to get outside and get some shots up. There is a playground for the kids and lots of room to run and walk.

I love taking my dogs to this park. It's very spacious with plenty of room to play fetch and for the dogs to run around. The grass is very thick and well kept. There are plenty of water bowls and a never ending water supply courtesy of the city. There is a nice pavilion in the middle of the park with a picnic table and nice large trees for shade. There is also a cool dog obstacle course, although I rarely see it being used. However, the dogs have dug up the grass and even made a fairly large hole around the pavilion pavement. The hole is right on the edge of pavement where people are standing, walking and it's an accident waiting to happen. Also it can get very muddy especially after it rains or when the dogs knock over the water bowls. The hole needs to filled and the grass patched and then I will give the park 5 stars 🌟. Update: They have updated this park to make it more spacious than before and there are a lot of dogs that come to play. However, the new gates aren't working well and there are some really uneven areas due to holes that were dug by dogs and the drought that really need to be taken care of. It's a major tripping hazard. I almost twisted my ankle. I do believe a little more care needs to be given to the park. Maybe they should replace the grass with turf, dogs can't dig and they won't get muddy if it rains. Going to update my score from 5 to 4

Great place! Large and small dog area. Large area has 4ft fence. No washing station, but has water fountain to fill buckets and bowls (already there along with a few toys)

Good sized off leash area for both large and small dogs. Shade structure and water fountain for hot days. Plenty of room for chucking balls.
