Ira Van Bullock Park is an 8.84 acre recreational park in the town of Greenacres. It was named in honor of a Greenacres Town attorney for 10 years. Mr. Van Bullock was a graduate from the University of Miami School of Law. He wrote the charter used in 1946 to re-establish the town, which had disbanded the previous year. He was also a Lake Worth municipal judge for 20 years. The park is open sunrise to 10 PM daily. Ira Van Bullock Park dates back to the 1970's and generations of Greenacres kids have grown up enjoying this park. Park amenities include a lighted ballfield, multi purpose field, concession area, restrooms, 2 basketball courts, picnic pavilion with grill and tables, and a playground. I enjoyed getting some steps in while exploring the park. Part of Ira Bullock Park is currently closed for an exciting new addition, the Greenacres Youth Center. The 18,400 square foot building will have nine classrooms, a technology lab, art lab, culinary lab, and administrative wing. The new Youth Center is expected to open by early 2026.

Pet friendly and a great place for kids... It's a rather large park w a couple fields and basketball and I think there were two playgrounds... Also a paviliion and grill areas for picnicking!
