It is a clean and friendly park. It has a dog park for your dogs. Very big playground and has lots to offer.
I grew up living by this park, and the recent improvements are amazing!!! Brand new basketball courts, an inclosed 5 on 5 soccer field, new playground, an area for dogs, and a track for running/walking, it truly is great to see the city making improvements for its residents, both old and new.
The dog park at Irving park is great. The only bad thing is some dog owners DO NOT CLEAN UP AFTER THEIR OWN DOGS... so inconsiderate of others. The city could make some money if they fined people for not following simple rules.
A very clean park. Nice for walking. Has bathroom facility. shade is available in a couple places by trees. You can just sit and relax.
I love taking my daughter and niece here it could be better if teenagers respected the parents of the toddler's and children... Other than that we all have fun
