ISLAND SHORES IS THE WORST COMPLEX IN PALM BEACH COUNTY!!! Now for context…. So I’ve been here for a few years and have seen enough to write about…I’ve had detectives knock in my door to investigate a DOUBLE MURDER in the parking lot. We’ve had drunk drivers plow straight into the building; right over the parking stop. I’ve seen drunk drivers hit trees…one almost took out an old oak tree in the parking lot. No maintenance people speak English, which isn’t any issue it’s just …how am I supposed to feel safe when we can’t even establish basic communication. THE GATE HAS NEVER WORKED. Which is probably why it was so easy to break in. Aside from the roaches and them constantly replacing my broken fixtures with used broken other fixtures… This is not by any means a cheap place to live…but it sure seems like it. You’ll have better luck going for lake worth a few miles down. They are making subtle upgrades but the rent goes up 10-20% each year… I should have read the reviews. But for every 1 star, the summon some fake 5 star review. Get it together Island shores just because you spend all of our rent money on a new entrance sign to fool new people but won’t fix the gate to secure current residents. I’ll cut my review short from all the other things I’ve seen to get to the point. (I HAVE PICTURES) THIS PLACE IS A HELL NO…OUT LIVED ITS DAYS

I was a resident at Island Shores apartments for over 6 years and my residency there was great. During my lease, I was going to school and I was late with my rent, but Adriana at the office was very understanding and helped me through it when I spoke to her about it. I have no complaints, my time there was great.

Worst living experience over 4 years. All appliances were damaged and I had to buy new ones with my own money. Even the air conditioner was damaged at one point. Mold infestations happened nearly every day and no one did anything to stop them. All maintenance requests made were ignored, and no one came to repair anything. The contract is a scam, you never get your security deposit back. Roaches are found everywhere, even in your clothes. And, again, maintenance does nothing about it. Don't let the price of living here fool you, it is not worth it. I don't recommend renting apartments here to anyone.

The screen patios lets you enjoy the natural fresh air and breeze off the Lake. Also GreenAcres Community Park has non-stop entertainment. From Fourth of July fireworks to lighting of the Christmas tree and monthly food trucks at the park.Once your sliding door is close it's back to peace and quiet. The 2 bedrooms 2 baths are very spacious with walkin closet in the master bedroom.Staff at the complex is very helpful with any issues i had at my time living there. Which was very little.

Lived here for almost 3 years, rent always paid on time, respectful of my unit, surrounding neighbors and parking lot. Never caused any issues or disturbance as that is just not my character, but always had a horrible experience with leasing office/management. Poorly ran and operated by miserable, over worked and probably underpaid employees. Adriana and Nicholas were horrible, rude, talk over you, ignore you in the office, dismissive of the people who pay to live here. I truly try to avoid leaving negative reviews, but I just don’t understand how people so nasty and hateful continue to work at this office. Do not rent here, mold, roaches, shootings, hit and runs horrible.
