Holy moly!!! Huge park! With river access. This has to be one of the coolest ones we’ve been to. On the university campus, maps took us past the road. It is at a parking lot turn before the strip of grass and tree area on the left. Pay parking weekdays, 1$ per hour.

Wow, what a find! This is a great and huge open space for dogs to play, right at the edge of campus. Ducks far the stocks for a

Spectacular, one-of-a-kind, walk-in park for able-bodied owners of dogs with good voice recall! Some descriptions of this park note that it is fenced on three sides, but it is NOT. There is a single fence separating the dog park from the other end of the island, and thick brush runs on the two long sides of the island— with breaks in the brush for river access. The double-gate does not lock. There are trash receptacles, waste bags, picnic tables, and benches closest to the fence; none at the river end. A best place to be a pup. 😊

Such a beautiful dog park and a great spot to sit by the river, write, paint, swim, and enjoy the scenery and the sound of the water and people nearby. This will always be one of my favorite parks in Missoula.

Such a good place for the pups. I am thankful to have a safe off leash park. It's always open, almost always drama free, and beautiful. For older dogs, or dog with bad hips or feet, be careful of the rocky end of the beach. The river comes over it in the spring but when it is dry it hurts the puppers feet.
