I loved it! I didn't explore the park on foot, but I rented a kayak. It was super easy; everything is done electronically. I downloaded the app, paid, and unlocked the kayak with my phone. It's easy to handle; you don't need help putting it in the water or taking it out. I paid $25 for an hour, but it's better to pay for a two-month membership for $80, and you can go for two hours every day if you want, and paddle through the mangroves or along the intracostal . I highly recommend it.

This park is one of Boca Raton best secrets! The entrance is behind CVS on 5th so, it is ez to miss! Everything you need for a good time is there, trails, kyack rentals with a trail through our beautiful mangroves, a sandy little beach right on the intracoastal all surrounded by big old Fla trees and mangroves both sides of the intracoastal. It is very quiet during the week with only nature sounds or the occasional boater parked in one of the alcoves, where our wild birds can be heard and seen daily since they are undisturbed. Bring binoculars and a camera!!Once you go there, you'll feel like you went back in time or away to a very special place which reminds us what Florida is all about.

Wonderful Park in Boca Raton. We took our grandchildren here while visiting. The play area was very clean and functional. The adjacent. Oats walk out over the wildlife preserve gave us opportunities to explore and enjoy.

Beautiful park! The scenery changes a bit with the tides. During peak low tide there’s mud underneath parts of the boardwalk where lots a small crabs run around. It was fun seeing the different types of tiny crabs and a nice experience to walk out to the end of the deck. Gorgeous surroundings and on weekends it’s neat to watch all the nice boats go by. Please beware of noseeum flies and bring strong bug repellent especially as the sun begins to set.
