This is a good dog park located within a larger park. While a bit on the smaller side it still has enough room for them to run around and burn off energy. There are two sections one for bigger and one smaller dogs with the rules for both clearly posted. There are agillity obsticals as well as a dog drinking foutain and a few places for people to sit. There are double gates with ample space between them to prevent any enthuiastic pups from easily slipping out when someone opens a door without being noticed proir to opening the secondary door. Well lit in the evening and plenty of cameras in the area for security. Now to awnser some google maps questions and do an over all park review since Ontario's website gives both parks the same name: The dog park is located in the far northwest corner on the gounds of James R. Bryant park that rest between flora and D street off of San Antonio. Parking for the dog park is street parking or if you want a nice walk, the park has a deticated parking lot on the south side that you can enter from D street. That park also contians a basketball court ,baseball dimond, fenced tennis court, outdoor body weight gym equipment, childrens play grounds with swings, benches, and bathrooms (While maintained/checked and locked at closeing the type of stalls used are not built to have doors so keep that in mind). There were grilling pits at that park at one time but were removed not long ago. Some people have mentioned the homeless there. They tend to stay to themselves, this location is not that far from downtown ontario, the fire department/city hall. Meaning the area is patrolled regularly and if one has serious problem and has to call emergcy services the police responce is usually pretty swift given how many children /families visit the park day to day. I had a neigbor that had to do so a while back and the respoce was both prompt and the situation was resolved peacfully.

This is a nice little dog park. There are separate areas for small and large dogs. They are closed on Friday mornings for maintenance. There are a couple of benches and a picnic table to sit at in the small dog area. There are also agility training structures in both dog areas. The people were friendly and their dogs were well behaved on the small dog side. Someone brought a dog on the large dog side (shares a fence with the small dog side) that seemed to want to pick a fight. The owner did put it back on its leash after he and another dog owner had to pull their dogs apart from an aggressive encounter (not a full blown fight). Parking was easy. Overall good dog park to bring a dog for some socialization. Nice to chat with other dog owners too.

Nice little dog park in the neighborhood, separate by dogs weight 30 lbs or higher use the large dog one; the smaller one is next door. Have several agility training things inside of it. Water fountain for the dogs, bench for human

Nice updated park. Has all kinds of obstacles courses. Nice people and dogs. People are respectful towards other dogs and if some get too crazy they will leave right away. However there is a major flooding happening near the water fountain that makes a big muddy mess. I have a white Siberian husky and every time he goes to drink water he ends up muddy! That’s the one thing I hate the most. Hopefully they get it fixed soon. I did contact the city and I was told they would send someone out.

The first couple of times I went it seemed like a good place for my Frenchie to hangout. The dogs here are not the issue, their owners are! People come in and let their dogs run free which is ok, but at least keep an eye on your dog taking a big poop in the middle of the grass where other dogs run by. Like seriously stop playing on your phone and clean up after your dog. My son and I can’t even walk through the grass because there is so much dog poop throughout the grass. This has made this park a very dirty dog park.
