Jason Verdow Memorial Park

So this park is nice when we are talking about the baseball fields , they have two. They have picnic tables , public restrooms, a concession stand, and plenty of parking. They also have a playground which had very nice cover from the shade but I will say it was a bit outdated and needed some repairs. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars was based on the playground, like I said it was a bit outdated and needed some repairs overall it's not a bad park just need some maintenance and repairs for the playground .

I come here often and the park is decent but they really need to do better with cleaning up . People come here to smoke cigarettes all the time and leave their buds on the ground. Kids play here!!! This is disgusting and not safe. There should be a no smoking sign at this park and it needs to be enforced . I’ve also seen alcohol bottles left on the ground as well .

Nice place to practice baseball, soccer and enjoy with friends and family.

Cute park. Small, playground, not crowded. Nice. I do wish they had vending machines for soda and/snacks. I know Circle K is close by and walking distance. But when it's really, really hot. Feels like a long walk. Also, just to get something small for your child quickly. Maybe a cool vending machine for chocolate bars or something (I'm also disabled, so....)? I like this park to take my 6 year old to ride his bike around. Update: They added shade . Even better now.

Such a nice baseball field with a great kids park and pavilion. I love the shades installed over the bleachers. The trees are always the best. I think shade by the concession area would be nice to cover the picnic tables. Overall this is my favorite baseball field.
