Absolutely terrible redesign! It wasn’t broke so why change something that worked! Now the play area is much smaller, less for the children to play on, more exposure to the hot Fl sun & less seating for parents to sit at while your child is playing. Some of us are disabled & like to bring our children or grandchildren to the park but need a space for us to sit at because not all of us can stand or walk around the whole time. On top of the fields being blocked off so children can no longer play there to run around & get their energy out. Do better parks & rec!

When it comes to the playground, restroom and covered facilities, I can honestly say it’s the best park to let your kids run around at, plenty of shade for the play equipment, it’s all fenced in with seating for the adults. I’ve been to every park in Cape with my daughter and this is the best.

Pretty good park overall! Although when it was under construction, there tended to be more adults there. When me and my friends were there for the tennis court (2-5 PM) while it was under construction, I could smell smoke from the basketball court and music blasting. I don’t suggest going while it’s under maintenance, haha. When it finished with renovations, it was bustling again.

My kids and I love the new updated playground at Jim Jeffers! All the new structures are awesome! My only complaint is that they didn't extend the shaded areas for the whole playground. It's great in the winter and fall, but we definitely won't be able to go in the summer, or even late spring, with no shade.

Place for adults to barbecue with friends. Also, Great and safe for kids to play with new equipment. Areas for tennis, basketball, or just to sit and relax watching the kids play...I strongly recommend this park to enjoy. Always water and restrooms for male n females.
