Very long straight path alongside a water canal. Bring your dog and plenty of water (no drinking water fountains). Expect little to no shade.

Today we were looking for a paved place to walk because of recent rain and wanted to avoid anything potentially muddy. We did an out and back along the canal from the Daniel’s Parkway lot. It was nice to choose how far to go. The path was nicely paved with a lot of benches. We didn’t see very much wildlife but it wasn’t the prettiest day. The path was clean but there was a lot of trash in the canal. My dad wants to go back and check out other stretches of the trail. I’ll go along but if it was just me as a walker I probably wouldn’t come back.

Nice for biking or walking, but only about 2 of the 6 miles are good for inline skating. The path is rough for about 4 miles

John Yarbrough Linear Park is a great place to take a nice walk with your people or your pups. Also it's the perfect place to ride your bicycle. The 10 mile paved trail follows a canal which is a haven for wildlife. The path crosses over several roads as you travel in either direction. There are no public bathrooms available just so you know. Along the way there are benches to rest or to just sit and enjoy the views. I hope you decide to experience this linear park...Great exercise!!

Nice walking path. No shortage of wildlife. We saw a panther and gator. Recommend keeping small children nearby, pets on a leash, and stay on paved pathways for safety.
