Awesome trail. If you park at the trailhead, it's a little confusing. Once you get onto the main trail about 1 mile in, it's nice and straight. Very nice views, through there was a long stretch with some kind of diesel fuel smell that was very bad. No homeless spotted, if you're worried about that.

This is a go to spot for me. It's clean, pretty, and has a variety of parking spots along the trail. There are nice spots to sit by the river and take in the scenery. My dogs love to explore here and play.

I have been going to the Jordan River Trail for years. It is a very nice place for walking, to running or to get away from the city for a little. It is in the middle of the cities that crosses but being in the trail makes you feel like you are are away. I don’t like how abandoned it is on the northern side starting at 4500 South. There are some sketchy areas and it seems like it is visited by homeless and addicts.

Very well maintained, stroller and handicap accessible, and pet friendly. Plenty of free parking lots. Easy trail within the city.

The 70th South trailhead. There are some benches and a trail map here.
