Excellent trainer with reasonable pricing!8 I got my rescue pup in May 2020 and knew that I wanted to do training with her to help develop our bond. I lucked out as Alexis lived literally across the sidewalk from me and I found out that she was actually a Dog Trainer!! I signed up For private obedience training. The first day she did an evaluation and developed a relationship with cookie. Cookie adored her. She graduated with her Obedience 1 Diploma where she had learned all the basic commands. She would get so excited every time we saw Alexis even though it might not have been her training day and we just met on the street. It was such a great experience that I signed up for additional training to try to help Cookie gain confidence, and we moved forward doing Ifitnessi training.. Our experience was great, and if I hadn’t moved Out of state, I would’ve continued with the fitness training. It was such a positive experience for both me and Cookie! She truly cares about the dogs and we miss our sessions with her. Alexis is the best!!!
Alexis is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, patient and kind. I had the pleasure of scheduling her services for my dog’s puppy training and obedience training. Alexis is incredibly attentive and makes sure to cater her suggestions and training to your pup’s specific needs. I recommend K9 Build for anyone looking for a personalized, trustworthy experience for their pups. I look forward to continue working with her on any of my dog’s future needs
Alexis is a fantastic dog trainer. She is patient, knowledgeable, and very skilled. She is very patient with our skittish goldendoodle and has taught both our pup and our family a ton. Highly recommend her training. Alexis also provided great follow-up summaries and ongoing support when needed.
Our Bassett Hound, Colin, loves Alexis. We initially contacted her for help with his anxiety around other dogs. Being stubborn by nature, Colin followed all of Alexis’ directions and learned so much. He looked forward to her visits and was very eager to please her. Colin is better around other dogs and is back to playing in the park with new friends. Alexis is also very skilled at helping Colin with arthritis pain, which she treats with gentle massages and simple stretches. Colin really enjoys this as well! Alexis is great with dogs and incredibly knowledgeable. She is highly, highly recommended.
We were so lucky to work with Alexis! Our pug-mix, rescue was 4.5 years old when we got him in January. He was leash reactive and wanted just to protect his new family. Plus, he was anxious. She not only helped us to learn and follow commands, but she taught us why he was doing what he was doing, giving us a better shot at prevention! My husband and I highly recommend her! She is wonderful.
