My dog loves coming to see his "friends" he's made here. A large space for big dogs and an area for small dogs. The park is tucked away in a dead-end street with a walking trail passing by on one side, around the corner from downtown Cumberland Gap, and a scenic view of surrounding mountains. Highly recommend.

I’m so glad I put forth the effort to finding Kaitlyn DeVries Memorial Dog Park. Be forewarned, I don’t recommend any vehicles larger than 24ft. such as mine. But for those who can get in this park, it is amazing! When I first arrived it was drizzling rain but we didn’t care. There was a covered area for the humans and the girls chased rabbits and squirrels. There is also a smaller dog park attached for the little ones. Afterwards I fixed lunch, Roger Wood smoked spicy sausage and rice with a side of baby lima beans seasoned with Hormel real bacon bits. Mmm. While I was eating I noticed people running and walking along this path adjacent to the park. This peeked my interest. So, I went to take some pictures of the park and discovered that the path was a walking path that is used by the locals for exercise. The tunnel leads under the highway into Shawnee for people to continue their workout. I took the girls for a walk the other way on this path and we had a good time. What a beautiful small historic town.

Space for big pups, with a separate space for smaller ones. There are no restrooms, but there are picnic tables within the dog park. Located alongside the CGNP, so also plenty of wilderness area and urban walking spaces and trails...it was enough to wear my girl Layla out.

This park wad a godsend. Out boarder fell through so we traveled on our Fall break with 3 dogs. They absolutely loved being able to run off of the leash and socialize with other dogs. The only complaint was that the water/ doggie fountains were not working. Very clean park. Great overall!

We greatly enjoyed this park! My family was staying at the Cumberland Gap campground with nearby with our dog and really wanted some space for him to stretch his legs. The park was clean, conveniently located and has plenty of room to roam.
