Pros: The park has separate areas for small and large dogs, which is convenient. There are also benches and trash cans accessible throughout the park. The people visiting the park were friendly. Cons: However, there are several drawbacks to this park. There were empty water jugs scattered around the entrance, which I see after reading other reviews are so people can bring water in? Looked like litter to me. The park is located under a highway, and was noisy, especially for small dogs like my 4-pound Yorkie. Additionally, the large dog area is directly next to the small dog area, separated only by a chain link fence. This means that large dogs can easily run up to the fence and shout at my dog, which can be frightening. The park itself is a mix of weeds, dirt, and sand, with no nice grassy areas. There was also litter on the ground, and the dog waste bag dispensers were broken and/or empty. I forgot my waste bags, but used a piece of litter to clean up after my dog. After the large dog ran at the fence, my dog stood up and pawed on my legs so I picked her up and get out of the park. I felt like I needed a shower after that experience. As soon as we got home, I wiped my dog down with a baby wipe. I was worried about diseases in this park. All in all, my visit lasted 5 minutes. I won’t go back. Giving 3 stars for the city trying to utilize dead space, but the park was a 2.

Highly recommend not going here if you're looking for a place to take your dog safely. Just walked up with my Belgian Melanoi looking to enter and several large dogs are at the entrance while there Dog Walker is off in the distance somewhere looking on from said distance. As we got closer the dogs started snarling and barking at us, guarding the way into the park! Waving the guy down he just shrugged his shoulders and others at the park ignored it. The sign for the CLEARLY dictates how you should be with your dogs, stay close and in your sight, listen to voice commands which not all of theirs did, and no aggressive behavior allowed! Easily the worst place we've been too in a while.

Great big park 50-200' wide and 100' yds long. Lots of seating areas. A regular local keeps up on filling water jugs and puts them around at sitting areas. It's a bit loud because of the overpass. But it's got lots of friendly locals. You can hose your dog off before you exit. #embarkingwithmig

This dog park has the worst demographic of people I’ve ever seen go to park. I’ve been there in the morning and there’s a couple guys that’ll bring in aggressive dogd, or the very least, not very friendly dogs that don’t obviously want to interact with others. And then apparently there’s a guy who will walk like 7 to 10 dogs into this park and treat it like a personal dog park?? I already don’t love dog parks, but that is a huge no-no and if these aren’t his personal dogs and those are client dogs, I’d be real pissed if I was a client. It is never safe for one person to bring that many dogs into a park and ruin the environment because it’s not like those dogs are super friendly either. And the guy has no regard or Care for anyone else’s experience there he’s just sitting there recording the whole thing??

Large play areas for both small and large dogs. Plenty of picnic tables and benches for seating. Covered areas and trees for shade. Not many waste bag stations or watering stations and watering stations were dirty & barely working. Loved the dog murals!
