We're lucky to have parks department you thought far enough ahead to secure this nice property for future citizens to enjoy. It's a great place to take your dog for a walk or get some peace if you don't feel up for the physically challenging trails at Chewacla Park

Beautiful backdrop for photos. Quiet with lots of trails and open space. Garden, Pavillion, benches, ponds, flowers etc. Great place for walking dogs and for hiking nature trails.

Beautiful and peaceful park close to Auburn University, but out of the city center so it is extra quiet. A large gravel parking lot greets you as you enter, with plenty of parking space. There are walking trails (almost 2.5 miles) with lovely views of trees, a small pond, and grassy fields. The paths are mainly gravel and well maintained, with a few areas of gentle inclines as well as exposed tree roots (these are easily avoided). Wooden benches are placed along the path to offer a place to rest. Blue, wooden sign markers help you to see how far you've walked. There is a separate dog park area, however, dogs are certainly welcome on the trails if they are on a leash or follow voice commands, per the signage. There are clean restrooms, a gazebo for gatherings, as well as plenty of green space to have a picnic or just relax on a blanket. A very enjoyable place to spend a few hours of your day!

Excellent park! Wondering around at least a hundred acres is an Awesome way to spend a beautiful spring day. We went to Bark in the Park and the girls came home completely exhausted and happy! 😆

Kiesel park is a wonderful natural treat. There are plenty of gravel and dirt paths to walk on, and an enclosed dog park for the pups. A great place to bring your kids to run around in the wide open fields, take family photos, see the goldfish pond, and enjoy lunch in the pavilion.
