Kirtland Dog Park is a wonderful place to take your dogs. It is not a very large park, but it is fenced and there is plenty of room for your dogs to run, romp and play. Most of the times that I have been there with my dogs, we have been the only group there; we have encountered another social group there on only two occasions. My dogs seem to enjoy Kirtland very much. PS: Poop bags and poop bins for clean-up are on site.

5/13 & 5/16/21: First of all: Where is this dog park you ask? Drive to the end of University towards the Thomas Bell Community Center. Look for a stop sign, then turn right. I recommend using this address (3001 University Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106). Drive downhill about 750ft and dog park is on the left side. Interesting dog park; 3 sections that go uphill. My dogs thought they were in a maze but enjoyed the separate areas. First visit there was a lot of poop. Return visit, less dog poop in areas. Thank you pet parents! The human park is very nice and so green. People were walking, enjoying the beautiful weather and I didn't see any dog poop in the areas I was in. Bring a blanket and your picnic basket and go enjoy yourself!

Wish there was grass because my girls love to romp and wrestle, but its a very spacious play area. There are also high quality wate bags provided at stations on all 3 tiers.

A nice terraced park. On the smaller side with no small dog section or water. But it was very well maintained.

Very clean and well kept. I like the fact that Albuquerque is so dog friendly with at least 5 dog parks that I counted! Thank you for providing me a safe spot for my pup!
