First off, parking. Couldn’t find any free parking. Parked in the lot on a Thursday morning for $2/hr I believe No street side parking nearby that I could find Water was not available, maybe turned off? (February) and no doggy bags. Spots where doggy bags should be provided we’re empty. The park itself was somewhat fun, with the bridge and all. Some (homeless?) would walk by and comment at the dogs, so keep in mind it is a fairly public place. The support for the bridge also made it difficult to kick the ball long distances, if your dog is a ball fetch dog

Fenced in, shaded but don’t expect water. The fountains do not work but it is well kept and within distance of ice cream/dog friendly shops

Yes! Finally a well thought out and fun dog park in city limits. One entrance + Open all the time. Located under the MLK bridge. Easy to find. Pretty windy here the day we visited. Dog bags and trash cans are plentiful. Lots of fun permanent obstacles. Drinking water fountains for dogs and their humans.

I’m so disappointed about this park. It could be great but there were three dead pigeons and some exposed wires. Also the dog-friendly brewery nearby is permanently closed. Not worth venturing down here to a place that used to be thriving.

Why is this a dog park? There are rusted cast iron columns laying on the ground, the grass is almost all dead, and the bridge support structures aren't made dog-safe in any way. And the columns are hollow - great spot for a small dog to get stuck. Cool idea, but it needs a maintenance contact and some more thought put into the design.
