Lady Bird Johnson Dog Park

Loved the park. Plenty of doable dog agility activities for my older hefty pup. Huge area for running around. There is a gate in the back of the large dog park. I found it open. I tried to close it but it's locked to prevent it from latching closed. Just be careful your pup doesn't find it. The wind can blow it open. Have fun!

Good luck finding the dog park! You drive into a huge multipurpose park with no signage. Maps repeated tell you that you’ve arrived when you haven’t. The “dog area” is all the way in the back. It’s not marked and the area is not maintained. Good place to get snake bit.

A quiet area. There is plenty of running around for the dogs. Some people didn't pick up their dog poo. Make sure your pets are immunized. My doodle climbed this on her own....wow. she surprised me!🐾🐾

Large dog park is better. But super cute, has good shade.

This is a nice dog park enclosure, a bit on the small size. Has one bench and one dog bag/trash can station, and one water fountain for both humans and canines per area (smaller area for smaller dogs). Very shaded, lots of trees. Has a nice dog agility set-up. Lots of parking. There a trail near the dog park with additional fountain and dog/bag trash can station. I took a point off because the fenced in area is barely mulched and there is no grass. With the little water from the water fountain my dogs paws were so muddy. I can imagine it is a muddy mess after it rains. I do plan on visiting more often, because my dogs enjoyed it very much and the other dogs and owners that visited while I was there were very friendly.
